Seven Simple Rules

1.  Be Respectful and polite to everyone.
2.  Be Honest. It is possible to cheat, but I assume that you are honest young adults.  If you cheat, you will be cheating yourself.
3.  Be Punctual and Prepared.  Tardies, according to school rules must be made up within five (5) school days.  Bring a text, your notebook, a pencil to class daily. If you come to class unprepared, you risk losing daily points.
4.  All students using the high school computers have signed an Acceptable Use Policy and therefore will be held accountable to the requirements listed in it.  It is most important that students use only the software and links that are assigned in class. Doing anything that is not assigned while at the computer will result in the loss of computer privileges for a specific amount of time.    All work for this class is available outside of class time via the internet.  Students who do not have school access because of infractions are  responsible for the material assigned and all due dates.
5.   Be Attentive: electronic devices, including music devices and cell phones are not allowed in class or lab, and will be confiscated if seen or heard in class, keep them in your backpacks, please.
6.   Some of the software used in class has audio and a set of headphones are required.  A set of 10 headsets is available to students on a first come first serve basis.  Students should bring their own head sets if they have them.
7. Personal Finance is held in a computer lab with 20 computers.  A schedule to accommodate 25 students will assure that all students have fare access.

Grading

Grades will be determine by the total points earned in the following manner:

Graded quizzes,  graded projects,  completion of text exercises, readings presented by poster and presentation and participation in class discussions and activities.
